PRE-QUALIFIERS & WILDCARD SLOTS
Note: To be fair, those Adult Men & Women that "Pre-qualified" at one of the USA Pankration (USAFPA) sanctioned events held throughout the United States will be seeded at the Nationals. There will be "Wildcard" slots available at this National Championship event in which the "non-pre-qualified fighters" will need to compete for right at the Nationals. In other words, if you were not able to pre-qualify at a previous event, you will have the opportunity to compete at the Nationals for a spot in the Team Trials; however, you will need to compete against the other non-pre-qualified competitors for the wildcard spot in your division. Depending on the number of competitors, we may allow more than one wildcard in each division.
The order of seeding will be given in the following order of preference:
1 - US Team Member for Previous Pankration World Championships
2 - Winner at Sanctioned Pre-Qualifier Event
3 - Competitor at Sanctioned Pre-Qualifier Event
4 - Winner of the National Wildcard spot(s)
